Job Description
Field/Warehouse Production Operator 1/21/2026 45.00 hours per week M-F 7:30-5:00, this start, and finish time may change based on the needs of the plant. 15-minute break 30-minute lunch break
Requirements:
Must have a valid Drivers license with little to no infractions Must have or be able to obtain a Chauffer's license or CDL with the state of Michigan 2 years of experience operating a straight truck or truck and trailer are preferred We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Operator to join our team. This role involves operating our mobile standing seam machine, brake press, and stationary rollformers in a potentially fast-paced environment. The machines are run onsite as well as in our Morrice plant depending on customer needs. The operator will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient use of machinery to meet project deadlines and production goals, as well as transporting their machine on our 26' non CDL box trucks when needed. You must maintain a strong line of communication with supervision and be able to work well with sales staff and contractors on the jobsites. Benefits- Health Insurance

- You must be able to navigate through machine malfunctions or get the necessary help for repairing your machine if necessary. Team Player
- You will be working with other departments to get the customers their product as efficiently as possible, you must work as a team.
Goals:
1. Safety- Safety is our biggest concern. You must be aware of your safety and the safety of all your coworkers in the panel shop. Be sure safe work habits are always practiced as well as proper PPE worn when necessary. Please report any safety concerns to management.
- Make sure that you complete the online safety shorts and any other safety meetings. 2. Quality
- Help your team provide quality panel to our customers in a timely manner.
- Be comfortable with stopping production if you see unacceptable quality and notify proper management if necessary. 3. Accuracy
- Help Lifetime Metal Sales to achieve a high level of accuracy in meeting customer's needs. (Correct amounts, colors, and profiles etc.)
- Review the errors we are making with your team to come up with ways to improve our accuracy. 4. Cleanliness/Housekeeping
- Keep your box truck clean
- Make sure all metal debris is cleaned from the truck after each job is completed
- Make sure all rollers and tooling on your machine are free of debris and cleaned 6. Teamwork
- Help keep Lifetime Metal Sales an enjoyable place to work. Communicate with your supervisor when you are needing assistance in your department or operating constraints 7. Maintenance
- Work with maintenance personnel to keep your machines in good shape.
- Do daily/weekly/monthly maintenance to keep equipment in good condition. 8. Strategy
- Help us to maximize machine improvements now and in the future.
- Suggest and help us to implement new ways of improving standing seam, and BB10 manufacturing 9. Quantity of work
- Keep engaged in your work. Minimize idle time.
- Make sure to speak with management in order to properly and effectively complete the tasks at hand.
