Job Summary The Warehouseperson is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials and products, while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and condition against packing slips and purchase orders Load and unload trucks and pallets using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately and on schedule Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage locations Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits Label, wrap, and prepare products for shipment Operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, hand truck) safely and in compliance with training Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse floor, aisles, and storage areas Follow all safety procedures and report hazards or incidents promptly Enter and update data in inventory/warehouse management systems Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and other departments on pickups and deliveries Assist with other duties as assigned (returns processing, damage claims, etc.) Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Prior warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) Basic math and reading comprehension skills Ability to use handheld scanners or warehouse management software Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (occasionally more with team lift) Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures (may include exposure to heat, cold, dust) Work Environment Warehouse/industrial setting May require occasional overtime, especially during peak periods Some roles may include early morning, evening, or weekend shifts
