Job Description
Summary The Warehouse Support position is responsible for putting away products and stocking inventory locations to prepare for order picking and picking orders as well as cleanup of spill product, or alike as necessary. Customer orders are picked and prepared for shipping using proper equipment to pull products from different tiers of products within the aisles. During picking an individual must fill customer orders and transport them to the delivery platform in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. The individual is responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled. The position will be reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor. Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required) Warehouse Experience (Preferred) Forklift Experience (Required) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Warehouse inventory and storage practices Communicate orally and in writing, concisely and effectively. Work collectively with a wide variety of stakeholders Lift up to 50 pounds Accurately and efficiently count items or quantities without relying on automated tools or machines. Essential Job Functions Efficiently stock overflow and inventory pick locations in preparation for customer order picking. Unwrap any product being placed directly in a pick location and clearly mark any product being placed into overflow. Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is packaged/palletized, wrapped, clearly tagged, and staged for shipping. Report quality/quantity variances. Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Operate "stand up" forklift/ "man lift" style forklift in performance of stocking and order filling duties when required. Daily inspect and notify manager of any maintenance required. Conduct physical inventories as required.
