BASIC FUNCTION

Operates a forklift to transfer raw material, scrap, equipment, and other supplies to meet production needs. Utilize a hand-held scanner to transfer material in and out of the Inventory Control System.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Continuous standing while operating fork truck Frequent bending, twisting, and lifting of materials weighing up to 75 lbs. Frequent grasping and pulling of scrap pans weighing up to 1300 lbs; force of up to 100 lbs (shoulder level) needed to tip scrap pans into gaylords Rolling spools of metal weighing up to 2,200 lbs into the staging area.
