Job Description

Position Summary The General Laborer provides essential support to warehouse, shipping, receiving, and production operations by assisting with material handling, inventory organization, shop maintenance, and machine shipments. This position requires the ability to safely operate hand and power tools, move heavy materials, and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Break down shipping crates and pallets of various sizes using hand and power tools. Safely operate power tools and other equipment in accordance with company safety procedures. Load and unload trucks using proper material handling techniques. Assist the Shipping and Receiving department with daily operations as needed. Pull network and non-network materials for production and customer orders. Put away inventory and production parts in designated storage locations. Return unused parts from job carts to inventory while maintaining organization and accuracy. Move heavy materials and machine components throughout the facility using appropriate equipment. Safely operate an overhead crane to transport materials and equipment Assist with preparing, packaging, and loading machines for shipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by performing routine shop housekeeping. Follow all company safety policies and procedures while supporting production and warehouse operations. Perform other general labor duties as assigned. Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or general labor preferred. Experience using hand and power tools. Experience operating an overhead crane is preferred or willingness to be trained. Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and move heavy materials. Basic understanding of warehouse and inventory procedures. Strong work ethic and willingness to perform a variety of physical tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and organizational skills. Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
