Position Summary:

The Senior Warehouse Associate is an experienced, hands-on warehouse position responsible for supporting all areas of warehouse operations within a food distribution environment. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of distribution warehouse experience, including food distribution experience , and be able to perform day-to-day warehouse operations independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Work across all warehouse functions as needed , including receiving, put-away, picking, staging, inventory, loading, shipping, and general warehouse operations Safely operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment Properly handle and rotate ambient, refrigerated/perishable, and frozen inventory using FEFO and LOT-control procedures Maintain inventory accuracy and identify or report discrepancies Follow food safety, warehouse safety, and operating procedures Stay productive throughout the shift, do not stand around or wait for work; identify what needs to be done next and confirm with your supervisor before proceeding Support less-experienced associates and assist with warehouse priorities and projects as needed

Working Conditions:

Regular work in freezer, refrigerated, and ambient environments; freezer work is required Proper cold-weather PPE is required (insulated coveralls/jacket and snow pants, gloves, headwear, and appropriate footwear); temporary loaner gear may be available while employees obtain their own Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physical warehouse work throughout the shift

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of food distribution warehouse experience Able to work across all warehouse functions, including operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks Able to lift up to 60 lbs. and regularly work in freezer environments Willing to come in early, stay late, and work Saturdays as operational needs require Must have a reliable personal vehicle and dependable transportation to and from work High school diploma or GED required
