In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including inventory handling, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and equipment operation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong safety awareness, technical proficiency with warehouse equipment, and a commitment to efficient materials management. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where accuracy and safety are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the loading and unloading of shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and other heavy equipment Perform manual handling tasks such as stocking, packing, and order picking with attention to safety protocols Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software accurately Support inventory control activities including cycle counts and stock reconciliation Prepare products for shipment by packaging and labeling according to company standards Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA and safety regulations Collaborate with warehouse supervisors on logistics planning and stock replenishment Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during operations Assist in shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing goods Support load & unload processes efficiently to meet operational deadlines Requirements Proven experience working in warehouse distribution or related logistics roles Proficiency in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and cranes Familiarity with warehouse management systems (e.g., AS400) and inventory management software Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper PPE use Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and inventory calculations Strong understanding of warehouse operations including order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and stock management Experience with warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus Technical proficiency with warehouse equipment operation is highly desirable #MS6Pay:
