: Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Record Center Specialist to join our team in Warren, MI. This role involves physically demanding tasks, including the movement and handling of storage boxes, bins, and totes. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing orders and managing the storage and retrieval of various materials.

Responsibilities

Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.

Manually lift, carry, and arrange boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.

Lift and carry boxes ranging from 10-100 lbs. regularly, without assistance.

Load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.

Walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.

Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes up and down inclines, stairs, and over changes in walking surface/elevation without assistance.

Read and write in English to process incoming and outgoing orders.

Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine box locations.

Operate handheld scanners and climb and balance on ladders.

Load, operate, and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and various other material handling aids.

Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts, and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.

Qualifications

Protective footwear meeting

ASTM F2413-11

standards with a slip-resistant rating of "Better or Best" is required.

Must be a US Person to meet ITAR regulations.

Potential for the position to transition from temporary to permanent.

Position related to a building move.

Work Schedule

Normal work schedule includes 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, with a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
