Job Summary Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate working the Shift from 5am to 2pm! Duties Safely operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and cranes to load, unload, and transport materials. Manage inventory control by accurately picking orders, stocking shelves, and conducting regular stock counts using inventory management software and warehouse management systems. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments against documentation, preparing packages for dispatch, and ensuring proper labeling. Handle materials manually when necessary, adhering to manual handling safety protocols and OSHA regulations for heavy lifting and materials handling. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by following safety regulations, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and participating in safety protocol adherence. Support warehouse operations through order fulfillment tasks such as order picking, packing, and loading goods onto trucks for delivery or storage. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors on inventory management tasks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within logistics processes. Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, or cranes in a warehouse setting. Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management software (e.g., AS400). Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques for accurate stock tracking. Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper PPE use to ensure a safe working environment. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while lifting heavy items regularly. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments or inventory levels. Technical proficiency with warehouse equipment operation and logistics procedures; previous warehouse supervisor or management experience is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward maintaining efficient warehouse operations.
