Job Summary PebbleTec-a division of Oldcastle APG, is a Scottsdale-based company that sources, processes, and distributes swimming pool and backyard products to an entrenched customer base and is well positioned for continued growth through organic initiatives, including international expansion, as well as through acquisitions. We are seeking a Warehouse Associate who will support the Warehouse Supervisor performing various tasks related to order preparation, inventory and inventory control and general warehouse activities that support revenue generating transactions for PTI product lines, including the Fire & Water, pigment, tools, equipment and sample fulfillment. Job Responsibilities Assist Warehouse Supervisor and other warehouse personnel. Accurately pull and package parts and boxed goods for shipping. Assist other warehouse employees in lifting/packaging large boxed and crated items. Receive, label and stock pool finish samples.Assemble kitted sample items:
box sets, color sample boards, etc., which include box assembly activities and gluing with hot melt and silicone adhesive. Learn additional job duties cross training in other areas of operations (sample fulfillment & production, cast stone production, etc.) Loading and unloading trucks for shipping/receiving. Restocking parts. inventory counts and ordering of replenishment stock items. Operation of FedEx & UPS shipping scale and program. Posting shipments into the order management system. Updating information in the order management system. Manage open orders to meet on-time/complete and scorecard goals. Assemble small tools and equipment as needed. Delivering and picking up parts and supplies using the company vehicle. General cleaning includes trash removal, sweeping, mopping, etc. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Good written and oral communication skills. Able to read, speak and write English. Able to understand and take direction. Reliable and dependable; good attendance record. Attention to detail. Safe and proper use of tools and equipment. Fork truck and standing reach truck experience a plus. Operate effectively at a high pace within active environment. FedEx or UPS computer system familiarity is a plus. Work both independently and amongst team members. Work effectively and maintain pace in a high-volume transactional environment. Exhibit strong initiative. Valid AZ driver's license with good Motor Vehicle Department record. Work in warehouse year-round with minimal cooling/heating; subject to fluctuating hot and cold temperatures (summer months cooled by swamp coolers; no heating in winter months). Standing for long periods of time. Physical ability sufficient to lift and maneuver heavy objects and equipment up to 65 lbs. Overhead reaching, bending, stooping. Eye-hand coordination. Must be able to differentiate colors.
