Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stores/Logistics Person to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will oversee the efficient handling, storage, and movement of materials and inventory. Your expertise in warehouse operations, and inventory management will ensure smooth order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving processes. Role & Responsibilities Picking orders and arranging them for checking Pack orders and arrange freight both to Clients and to international locations. Check and inspect goods received to ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, and acceptable quality. Distribute goods to customer orders or stock locations Safeguard the warehouse by following security procedures and protocols. Monitor the condition of the forklift and other materials handling equipment and organise servicing or replacement where required. Take steps to prevent and avoid quality control issues. Report damaged or poor-quality inventory to supervisors. Ensure a clean and safe warehouse for staff to work in, including general housekeeping and removal of hazards Use mechanical handling equipment (i.e. forklift) to move goods around when necessary (non essential part of role) Assist with production and assembly duties when required by management Experience Proven warehouse experience with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes Experience operating forklift Prior experience in warehouse management or supervision is preferred Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper PPE use during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail in a dynamic environment where priorities do change.
