Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate III to join a fast-paced warehouse team in Rogers, MN. This position supports multiple areas of warehouse operations, with a primary focus on order picking using forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers. The ideal candidate has strong forklift and reach truck experience, is comfortable using warehouse computer systems, and can effectively support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and customer pickup operations while maintaining a high level of accuracy and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers to select and move product throughout the warehouse. Use pallet jacks and carts to pick and transport smaller orders. Pick and prepare products for internal and external customer requests. Verify products and quantities against pick lists to ensure order accuracy. Safely load and unload inbound and outbound trailers. Stage completed orders and shipments in designated areas. Receive, label, and accurately put away incoming materials. Complete shipping documentation and carrier manifests for FedEx, SpeeDee, LTL, truck, and other shipments. Perform Sales Order shipment functions and assist with tracking outbound shipments. Perform cycle counts and accurately record inventory adjustments. Identify, research, and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies. Manage the movement of demonstration and returned products. Assist Will Call customers with product pickup and loading. Support warehouse equipment upkeep, including battery watering and charging. Use ERP systems and other computer programs to complete warehouse transactions and maintain accurate records. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Participate in inventory audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives. Follow all established safety procedures when operating powered industrial equipment. Perform additional warehouse responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of forklift and reach truck experience required; candidates must be proficient operating both. Experience operating an order picker preferred. Strong computer skills required, including the ability to navigate ERP systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and basic Excel functions. Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English. High school diploma or GED preferred. RF scanner experience preferred. Familiarity with small-package and LTL shipping operations preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory and order accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing warehouse demands. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Dependable, professional, and team-oriented. Strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement. Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods. Ability to frequently bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements. Ability to safely lift and handle up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity and regular use of hands, wrists, and arms for handling products, tools, and materials. Visual acuity necessary for close, distance, and peripheral work activities.
Working Conditions:
Combination of warehouse and office environments. Warehouse is partially climate-controlled with moderate noise levels. Regular exposure to moving equipment, including forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles. Position requires constant awareness of surroundings and adherence to established safety procedures. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
