Full time warehouse worker

Overview Paramount Convention Services is seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Worker to join our team. The Warehouse Worker is responsible for performing basic day-to-day functions in the warehouse to support the preparation, set up, and production of trade shows and events. This position plays a vital role in ensuring materials and equipment are organized, maintained, and ready for timely delivery to event sites.

Responsibilities:

Prepare orders for delivery - this includes, but is not limited to, assisting with packaging, staging, and labeling materials for trade shows and events. Load and unload trucks with event materials, tools, and equipment. Work in several departments as needed daily (carpet, pipe and drape, tables, skirts, chairs, metal, etc.) Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Work with Supervisor to ensure that all equipment is returned to the proper place after it has been processed. Adhere to company policy regarding the coordination of inbound and outbound inventory. Maintain cleanliness, organization and safety standards within the warehouse.

Safety and Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment and report any issues promptly. Adhere to company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Requirements:

Minimum one (1) year warehouse, logistics or event operations experience preferred. Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation. 40 hours a week. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to lift 50+lbs and work in a fast paced, physically active environment. Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain one.

Work Environment:

This is full-time in person in the warehouse. Requires standing, lifting, bending, and operating machinery for extended periods of time. Ability to work weekends, possible nights/split shift.

Pay:

$16.00 - $23.00 per hour
