This position is responsible for moving product through the distribution center, safely and accurately, while following all safety and company policies and procedures. This position is also responsible for maintaining a positive work environment by communicating and interacting in a manner that is conducive to the purpose and mission of the company overall.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process Orders Verify and apply stickers for Inbound and Outbound Processes. Process hazardous materials in accordance with International Civil Aviation Regulations. Able to use a Radio Frequency Terminal / Scan gun to process product throughout warehouse. Required to use assigned individual security passwords Assure compliance to all procedures related to Regulatory, Environmental, Health and Safety Requirements (Including spills, damages, and returns). Process and stage damaged product in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). Must use correct pallets and packaging (as required by customer or country) to ship product. Participate in projects/teams to continuously improve the operation and key result areas (i.e., safety, quality, service and cost). Utilize Warehouse Computer Applications (WMS, RF Equipment) Performing other tasks, as assigned. Documentation Complete Pick/Pack documents for Freezer products and packing lists, as required. Document Inventory Discrepancies. Complete training assignments, on time. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.- Employee is regularly required to stand; talk and hear; use hands to handle materials or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel and crouch.
- The employee frequently is required to walk, lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Employees are regularly exposed to other moving Powered Industrial Equipment, extreme cold and extreme heat.
- All employees performing this job are responsible for maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Employees are required to perform all assigned duties and any additional tasks, including cross-training.
- This position requires that employees performing this job follow all Health and Safety procedures.
