You'll operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans, while also managing warehouse tasks such as loading, unloading, and material handling. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles for delivery routes while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks or carts Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using mobile devices or GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries Provide exceptional customer service by delivering products courteously and professionally, addressing customer inquiries when needed Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and maintaining organized storage areas when needed Follow safe lifting practices during manual handling tasks involving heavy or bulky items Requirements Proven experience in delivery driving or warehouse work, with familiarity in warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation Valid class D driver's license (or higher) with experience driving commercial trucks or vans. Ability to lift heavy loads of 50lbs. or more safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly in accordance with safe lifting practices Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and weight handling standards in the workplace Strong organizational skills for route planning and inventory management Comfort using mobile devices for route navigation and communication during deliveries Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor If you are interested you will need to come into our office and apply in person.
