Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring smooth warehouse distribution processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in materials handling, order fulfillment, and warehouse management systems, contributing to the seamless operation of our supply chain. Responsibilities Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, and other heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols Perform inventory management tasks, including stock counting, inventory control, and updating records via warehouse management systems such as AS400 Pick and pack orders accurately using RF scanners and order picker equipment to ensure timely order fulfillment Operate cranes, pallet jacks, and other mechanical tools for materials handling and heavy lifting activities Maintain organized storage areas by stocking products efficiently and ensuring proper placement for easy access Prepare items for shipping and receiving by packaging goods securely in compliance with safety standards such as OSHA regulations Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including load & unload operations, verifying shipments against purchase orders Support manufacturing or construction-related activities by handling raw materials or components as needed Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution workflows and improve overall efficiency Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations, including stocking, order picking & packing, and inventory management Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 or similar platforms Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks safely and effectively Strong mechanical knowledge related to materials handling tools and equipment maintenance Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and proper packaging techniques for shipping & receiving Experience with inventory control methods and stock replenishment strategies Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order fulfillment processes Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors Prior experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus This position is integral to maintaining efficient warehouse operations while prioritizing safety and accuracy.
