Saturdays as needed. Responsible for warehouse, keeping it nice and organized. Maintaining an organized and fully stocked sales floor. Will work in warehouse and assist with freight as well as on the floor helping customers. Helping organize and fully stock feed warehouse.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Meet and greet customers Upkeep and organization of department Pull merchandise for online orders Merchandising and freight stocking Keep warehouse clean Creates and maintains a safe environment for customers and employees Other duties as needed
Skill Set Requirements:
Strong communication skills Strong organizational skills Positive work attitude and willingness to learn Excel in fast-paced, evolving work environment Familiar with standard retail processes
Physical Demands:
Standing for long periods of time Heavy, repetitive lifting Bending, carrying, and pushing Close vision for PC work Forklift operations, moving pallets of feed. Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job.
Requirements:
- Experience operating heavy equipment, including forklifts
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic repairs
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with food processing or production is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication skills
