Purpose/Description This position operates in all phases of the Warehouse (Shipping/Receiving/Inventory Management). This positionsupports the Warehouse goals which are rooted in the goals for DEX. The ideal candidate should have adocumented history of growth and development in previous positions. Responsibilities Process inbound inventory from multiple sources Work in Microsoft, DEX in-house and Mack/Volvo proprietary software Pick and ship customer orders Receive (counting and delivering) incoming goods to the correct destination Follow safety procedures when utilizing equipment Utilize strapping and wrapping tools to secure inbound and outbound freight Perform inbound and inventory counts and audits Maintain a clean and organized work area Load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks Interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner Provide mentorship to others Assist with QC in areas as needed Support Warehouse Lead(s) as needed with special projects, stretch assignments and out of office coverage Cross-train to function in all Warehouse activities Support all other DEX activities as needed Competencies Situational Adaptability Self-Development Optimizes Work Processes Collaborates Action Oriented Customer focus Integrity and Trust Compassion Minimum Qualifications 7 or more years of relevant warehouse experience Proficient in Microsoft office and demonstrated ability to learn PC based applications Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) High school degree or equivalent Ability to obtain in-house forklift certification Physical Requirements Required to stand, reach, walk, and use hands to operate tools/controls Required to sit, balance, and crouch Required to be able to lift 50lbs At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company's growth. For this position, the base pay is set at $19.75 - $24.40/hour, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
