Plasma Material Handling Associate Operator Location:
Clayton, NC Pay:
$25/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM-2:00
PM Employment Type:
Temporary (through November 2026, with potential for extension)

3 Job Overview We are seeking Plasma Material Handling Associate Operators to join a growing team in Clayton, NC. This role involves receiving, handling, storing, and tracking raw plasma and blood products in a warehouse and freezer environment. The ideal candidate has warehouse, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety procedures. Candidates must be comfortable handling raw plasma and working in extremely cold freezer conditions. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a weekday schedule with the potential for additional hours. Immediate availability is preferred. Responsibilities Receive, unload, sort, and process incoming plasma shipments. Enter shipment and inventory information into computer systems. Track and maintain accurate inventory throughout warehouse and freezer locations. Inspect crates, pallets, and equipment for damage. Retrieve plasma products from freezers based on work orders. Identify and remove unsuitable plasma products when necessary. Assist with organizing and relocating inventory. Operate forklifts and electric or rider pallet jacks safely. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all safety guidelines, standard operating procedures, and quality requirements. Assist with overtime or additional shifts as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. At least 1 year of warehouse, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or regulated industry experience preferred. Previous experience following written procedures and safety guidelines. Forklift or electric pallet jack experience preferred. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic math skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to repeatedly lift 25-50 lbs. throughout the shift. Ability to work in freezer temperatures of -22°F or colder. Ability to stand, walk, and move materials throughout the shift. Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment. Comfort handling raw plasma and blood products is required.
Schedule & Compensation Pay:
$25 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM-2:00
PM Hours:
36 hours per week, with opportunities for additional shifts.
Duration:
Expected through November 2026, with potential for extension.
Start Date:
Immediate availability preferred.
