Job Description

Our client, an industrial service company, is looking for a Warehouse Associate - Pallet Repair in Gastonia, NC . In this role, you will inspect, repair, and rebuild pallets using hand and power tools while meeting established safety, quality, and production standards. Day to
Day:
Inspect pallets to identify damaged deck boards, stringers, blocks, protruding fasteners, contamination, and other defects Repair pallets according to approved specifications using saws, nail guns, pry bars, hammers, and other authorized tools Remove unsafe components and install approved replacement material while maintaining correct dimensions and structural integrity Verify completed repairs and route pallets to approved, rework, scrap, or hold locations Meet established production and quality expectations without compromising safe work practices Handle nails, lumber, scrap, and debris safely; keep guards in place and maintain a clean, orderly workstation Inspect tools before use, report defects immediately, and follow lockout/tagout and energy-control requirements applicable to the work Accurately record production, scrap, downtime, and material usage as required
About You:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous production, construction, woodworking, pallet, or power-tool experience preferred Ability to understand repair standards, distinguish usable from damaged material, and perform repetitive work accurately Ability to use hand and pneumatic tools safely after training Reliable attendance, teamwork, and commitment to safety and quality Frequently lift or move pallets or components up to 50 pounds Work with wood dust, splinters, nails, vibration, noise, and temperature changes Pay-Rate /
Shift:
$19.00 /hour Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (OT when needed)
Pay:
From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
