Job Description The Material Handler is responsible for accurately and promptly transporting materials to/from workstations and racks, utilizing forklifts, carts and pallet jacks; while following safety rules, meeting productivity standards and achieving attendance requirements. Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and track inventory. Assist in order picking processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for shipping and receiving tasks. Manage materials handling tasks including load & unload activities, stacking, and organizing stock within the warehouse. Support shipping & receiving operations by preparing shipments, verifying orders, and maintaining detailed logs. Follow OSHA guidelines and safety protocols during all operations to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions and improve workflow efficiency. Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or related roles. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks safely and effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners. Experience with shipping & receiving processes, heavy lifting, and materials handling techniques. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and equipment use. Prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for leadership opportunities.
