The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in engine diagnostics, repair, and rebuilding. This position goes beyond basic maintenance tasks like brakes and oil changes; we need a skilled mechanic capable of handling complex engine work.

Responsibilities :

Diagnose and repair various automotive issues with a primary focus on engine systems. Perform engine rebuilds, overhauls, and replacements as necessary. Conduct thorough inspections to identify underlying problems and recommend appropriate repair solutions. Utilize diagnostic equipment and technical resources effectively to troubleshoot complex issues. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair recommendations and service updates. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician / Mechanic. Proficiency in engine diagnostics, repair, and rebuilding. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Experience with a wide range of automotive systems and components. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

ASE certification or equivalent professional credentials. Prior experience working in a busy automotive repair shop. Familiarity with modern diagnostic tools and technology.
