Primary Purpose Summary Requires a self-driven individual with the willingness to do the job right. The Warehouse Clerk reports to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for clerical activities in support of the Warehouse and Shipping department. The position assists in the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments with both suppliers, internal and external customers. The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for loading and unloading all shipments.
Detailed Description:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Loading and Unloading shipments. Performs a variety of administrative duties that surround the receipt and shipment of goods Creates, compiles, and run orders and reports using SAP and non-SAP systems Enters shipment data via computer into carrier and customer portals Scans and uploads shipping documents, maintains diversified files and documents, creates and maintains various measurement tables and charts as required.
Assists:
ISO procedural documentation, audits as required Communicates with internal and external customers, suppliers, and freight providers Assist in Inventory Record Accuracy Assist with housekeeping and cycle counting Occasionally work Saturdays Performs general housekeeping duties Acts as back up for Warehouse Coordinator Place all inbounds shipments in designated locations. Helps maintain Inventory accuracy. Perform other duties as assigned. Possibility to work second shift. Ability to prioritize and delegate as needed Perform all other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years Forklift experience. High school diploma or GED equivalent Computer skills: Microsoft office, outlook, excel, and Power point Able to learn SAP transactions relating to Shipping functions using both computer and scanning devices Must be able to drive a forklift and attain the proper OSHA certification Detailed oriented and quality conscious, with excellent organizational skills Must be courteous and a good team player. Customer focused! Must be able to manage multiple priorities Must be able to discern shades of color relating to material movement process Must possess basic math skills Must be able to hear warning signals and verbal alerts to avoid injury Must be able to lift 50 pounds above the waist Must be able to read, write, and speak English to communicate and understand relevant information Must follow all OSHA related rules and regulations as well as company safety policies Must possess good written and verbal communication skills. NVA/Turret truck experience preferred.
