Our client, a leading sheet metal warehouse, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to support their operations. Located conveniently on Rt 106, this role offers an opportunity to contribute to a team committed to excellence and customer service. Responsibilities of the Material Handler/Warehouse Assist order pickers in the proper packaging of next-day shipments. Properly package materials to ensure safe and secure delivery. Identify skid types and band materials accordingly. Accurately count various size gauges and maintain inventory integrity. Familiarize yourself with stock locations, products, and sizes to ensure efficient operations. Maintain the integrity of products through proper handling and storage. Notify the supervisor of any discrepancies or issues. Uphold the company's values by demonstrating integrity, competence, trust, respect, accountability, and commitment to excellence in customer service. Perform general warehouse housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements of the Material Handler/Warehouse Dependable with strong work ethics. Ability to follow verbal directions and written instructions accurately. Capable of working both independently and as a collaborative team player. Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management.
