Job Description

. Looking for a stable, hands-on career where your work makes a difference every day? We are seeking a motivated Material Handler/Logistics Associate to join the team at GreenSource Fabrication, a Whelen Engineering Company, to help keep their operation running smoothly in the Charlestown, NH area.

From operating forklifts and managing inventory to supporting shipping and receiving activities, you'll play a key role in ensuring materials and finished products move safely and efficiently throughout our facility.

Shift:

1st shift M-F 7am - 3:30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and chemicals, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Identify, document, and report discrepancies, damages, or nonconforming materials to the Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Perform receiving, shipping, and inventory transactions with the ERP system.
• Transfer and deliver materials and chemicals to designated storage areas, production lines, or day tanks following established handling procedures.
• Prepare finished products for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and completing all required shipping documentation.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Vocational training preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or a regulated production environment preferred.
• Experience with chemical handling preferred.
• Experience with forklift operation preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions (work orders, purchase orders, shipment documentation etc.)
• Ability to interpret SDS's and TDS's.
• Motivated, results oriented, customer focused, with a high commitment to quality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and familiarity with ERP software.
• Working knowledge of safe material handling and inventory control practices.
• Ability to learn new technology and effective problem-solving skills.
