Job Description

Warehouse Loader - 1st Shift Milton, NH | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-1:30 PM (Thursday 4:00 AM-12:30 PM) $19.00-$21.00 per hour Index Packaging is looking for a dependable Warehouse Loader to join our trucking and shipping team in Milton, NH. This is an active, hands-on position responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving materials throughout the facility and yard, and helping keep shipments moving safely and efficiently. A significant portion of this position is performed outdoors year-round and includes operating a yard truck and backing 53-foot trailers onto loading docks.
What You'll Do:
Load and unload dry vans, flatbeds, and box trucks Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment Verify materials and shipments against shipping documents for accuracy Move, stack, and organize materials throughout the warehouse, loading docks, trailers, and yard Secure shipments to help prevent damage during transportation Operate a yard truck and back 53-foot trailers onto loading docks Move trailers and materials between company buildings and loading areas Support shipping and receiving activities as needed Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Follow company safety procedures and required PPE practices
What We're Looking For:
Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, loading, or material-handling experience preferred Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred Yard truck, tractor, or trailer-moving experience preferred Ability to safely back 53-foot trailers onto loading docks Ability to read shipping documents and follow work instructions accurately Basic math and inventory-counting skills Dependable and safety-conscious Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Comfortable working indoors and outdoors throughout the year No previous loading experience? Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and stacking Regular lifting up to 50 pounds Team lifting for heavier or awkward items Ability to work in warehouse, loading dock, truck, trailer, and outdoor yard environments Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow
