Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Loader/Unloader and become a vital part of our warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring products are safely loaded and unloaded with precision and care. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth warehouse flow, support inventory accuracy, and uphold safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in materials handling, heavy equipment operation, and warehouse management within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Safely load and unload goods using various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and RF scanners to ensure efficient material handling. Assist with order picking by accurately selecting items for shipment or inventory replenishment. Conduct manual handling tasks including lifting, carrying, and stacking heavy or bulky items while adhering to safety protocols. Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation and recording inbound/outbound activities. Maintain organized storage areas, ensuring inventory is properly labeled, stored, and accessible for quick retrieval. Operate warehouse equipment responsibly, including forklifts and heavy machinery, following all safety guidelines to prevent accidents. Support warehouse supervisors by assisting with inventory management tasks and participating in safety audits to promote a secure work environment. Experience Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with order picker operations, pallet jacks, forklift driving, and material handling equipment is highly advantageous. Knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving procedures, inventory management systems, and safety protocols. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and shipment measurements accurately. Demonstrated manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely while maintaining proper ergonomic practices. Experience working with RF scanners or similar technology used for inventory tracking is a plus. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude toward maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment. Pay:
$17.50 - $20.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
