Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Temporary Warehouse Worker and be a vital part of our fast-paced logistics operation! In this energetic role, you will support the efficient movement, handling, and management of inventory within our warehouse environment. Your contributions will help ensure smooth order fulfillment, timely shipping and receiving, and overall warehouse productivity. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with warehouse operations while working in a safety-focused and team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and cranes to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently Assist with inventory control by conducting stock counts, updating inventory management software, and maintaining accurate records using warehouse management systems Support order picking and packing processes to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly Handle materials manually with proper manual handling techniques to ensure safety during stocking, shipping, and receiving activities Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to safety regulations and using personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate logistics activities such as load & unload operations and shipment preparations Follow safety protocols diligently while operating heavy equipment and performing warehouse tasks to prevent accidents or injuries Experience Prior experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse operations is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, or crane machinery Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous Experience in materials handling, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, or stock management is desirable Strong basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing tasks Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation is a plus Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling for extended periods This role is paid and perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in logistics while contributing to a high-performing team.
