Full Job Description Location:
Oakland, NJ Monday through Friday- 6:00am-2:30pm Mandatory some Saturdays Overtime will be 5:30am-3:30pm #ML A manufacturing company in Oakland, NJ is seeking an experienced Material Handler to support its production and logistics operations. This position is responsible for supplying production areas with the correct materials, maintaining accurate inventory, and quickly resolving material discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
Pull and deliver the correct materials for daily production needs. Maintain appropriate inventory levels in designated production areas. Keep bins and material locations organized and consolidated. Return unused or excess materials to the correct inventory locations. Research and help resolve material or component discrepancies. Use RF scanners to process work orders and enter finished goods into inventory. Report inventory discrepancies to management immediately. Work closely with Production, Logistics, Customer Service, Engineering, Safety, and Quality teams. Follow all workplace safety, quality, and OSHA requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. At least two years of warehouse or manufacturing experience. Experience operating material-handling equipment. Experience using an RF scanner or RF gun. Ability to read and understand work instructions and drawings in English. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP inventory systems. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively with others and with minimal supervision. Dependable, organized, and accountable for completing assigned work.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs throughout the workday. Ability to lift and move up to 65 pounds. Apply today with an updated résumé for immediate consideration.
