This hybrid role combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities and requires flexibility, professionalism, and a team-first attitude. The ideal candidate is willing to travel between multiple office locations and assist physicians during in-office procedures, including fluoroscopy-guided procedures as needed. Essential Responsibilities Prepare examination and procedure rooms before patient visits. Escort patients, obtain vital signs, and update medical history in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Assist physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners during patient visits and in-office procedures. Assist with fluoroscopy-guided procedures as needed while following radiation safety protocols. Maintain patient flow and ensure exam rooms are cleaned, stocked, and organized. Schedule appointments, answer phones, process referrals, and assist with patient registration and insurance verification. Accurately document patient information, orders, and encounters in the EHR. Assist with prescription refill requests, prior authorizations, and medical records as directed. Maintain inventory of medical supplies and report equipment issues promptly. Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and universal safety precautions. Travel between office locations as needed. Perform medical scribing and other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical Assistant certification or relevant experience preferred. BLS/CPR certification preferred. Experience in pain management, orthopedics, physiatry, or a specialty practice is a plus. Fluoroscopy or radiology experience preferred; training may be provided for the right candidate. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between office locations. Skills & Competencies Excellent communication and patient service skills. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with EHR systems (eClinicalWorks experience preferred) and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and infection control practices. Dependable, professional, adaptable, and detail-oriented. Ability to take initiative and support both clinical and administrative operations.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
