THE ROLE
The Material Handler is responsible for safely executing the varied responsibilities to meet the production schedule and quality targets. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform a visual quality check on all finished products. Remove strut from mill and bundle as appropriate. Assemble concrete insert strut. Prepare and/or bundle strut pieces for welder. Load and unload machines. Package baseboard and other materials. Assembly of baseboard accessories including pressing and welding. Assemble rooftop blocks. Load coils onto coil joiner and weld properly. Support and provide input for continuous improvement activities. Maintain the cleanliness of the area according to 5S principles to provide a safe and effective working space. Professional Qualifications Must be able to use measuring devices. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and ensure accuracy. Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety rules. Demonstrates ability to work in team, treat colleagues with respect and has a high level of accountability / punctuality. Willingness to be cross-trained and rotate through all business functions as required by business needs. Proven record of strong attendance. High School Diploma or equivalent. Good written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills.

From $18.00 per hour
