PM Position Description:

The Material Handler I is responsible for receiving, storing, and organizing materials in the warehouse. This role also includes preparing orders, managing inventory, and keeping the warehouse clean and safe.

Essential Job Functions:

Receive, label, and store materials and supplies. Track incoming deliveries and monitor vendor schedules. Check delivered items against order forms for accuracy. Organize materials based on project priorities. Enter inventory transactions into the computer system. Prepare items for shipment (pulling, palletizing, loading, and securing). Monitor inventory levels and suggest restocking when needed. Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe. Follow all safety rules and guidelines. Maintain a professional and respectful attitude. Help with other tasks as assigned. Education and Experience High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, required. 1+ years of previous experience in a warehouse or similar setting, preferred. Technology Proficient with Microsoft Office, preferred. QuickBooks experience, preferred. Skills Good communication and teamwork skills Strong organization and attention to detail Willingness to learn new tasks Basic reading, writing, and math skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Problem-solving skills in routine situations

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Frequently standing, walking, lifting, and moving materials Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs regularly Perform repetitive movements and physical tasks Comfortable working in varying conditions (heat, cold, noise, etc.) Good hand-eye coordination and vision (near and far)
