Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A hospital-based pharmacist opportunity is available for a night shift position in a 175-bed facility. This role involves supporting inpatient care through medication management and collaboration with the healthcare team. The position is a 13-week contract with a schedule of 7 nights on and 7 nights off, working 10-hour shifts each night.

Responsibilities:

Verify and process medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure workflow compliance Consult with physicians and nursing staff on pharmacotherapy and patient care Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring for complex cases Utilize clinical IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis to optimize medication use

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Current pharmacist license in Nevada Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred Ability to work night shifts consistently and independently Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems

Schedule:

Night shifts, 7 days on followed by 7 days off 10 hours per shift
