Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse professional for their current temporary to possible hire opening. The pay rate is $24 - $34/hr. (depending on experience) + benefits if hired on and offers a 1st shift schedule of 7am - 3:30pm. See details below and apply today!
Position Summary:
The warehouse associate is responsible for all activities in shipping and receiving, including all required documentation. They will report to and are responsible to the warehouse manager.
Duties include:
1. Organization of incoming and outgoing loads of products. 2. Develop and maintain inventory using the warehouse database 3. Develop and maintain a lot in usage guide for all materials and color concentrates 4. Develop and maintain a usage log showing lots used on specific dates 5. Label product and assign lot/receiving numbers as needed for tracking purposes 6. Track custom orders and notify office personnel when custom orders are ready for shipment 7. Maintain a numbering system for storage racking 8. Maintain adequate levels of propane based on usage 9. Maintain a log to monitor the usage of batteries and to maintain water level checks 10. Record on spreadsheet daily and monthly inventory level 11. Notify purchasing personal when items are under or over stocked 12. Order support items and supplies based on inventory levels 13. Organize scrap skids, cardboard, scrap gaylord and good gaylord boxes 14. Notify office personnel when skids, cardboard, and gaylords are ready for shipment 15. Keep sidewalk (drivers' entrance) and doorways (emergency exits) free of snow and debris during the winter months 16. Conduct additional duties as assigned by the plant manager
Qualifications:
1. Knowledge and experience of warehousing and inventory control. 2. Knowledge and experience in using a personal computer for data entry. 3. Organizational qualities. 4. Knowledge and experience as a forklift operator. 5. Able to read charts and measure results. 6. Ability to multi-task as needed. 7. Good oral and written communication skills. 8. Any management experience is a plus. #IND456

$24.00 - $34.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
