Job Title:

General Laborer Chemical Mixing (3rd Shift) Job Description This role focuses on safely mixing various chemicals according to established production formulas in a manufacturing environment. You handle hazardous materials, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow detailed mixing instructions and safety protocols to support consistent, high-quality production on the 3rd shift. Responsibilities Mix various chemicals in accordance with approved production formulas and written instructions. Handle hazardous chemicals safely while strictly following safety procedures and protocols. Wear and maintain required PPE at all times when working with chemicals and in designated areas. Adhere to all production and mixing guidelines to ensure accurate measurements and consistent product quality. Follow established safety procedures, including proper storage, labeling, and handling of chemical materials. Support plant needs by working a flexible 3rd shift schedule from Sunday through Thursday, approximately 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Complete training on 3rd shift and apply learned procedures to daily tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Report any safety concerns, equipment issues, or procedural deviations to supervision promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth production flow and meet plant requirements. Essential Skills Experience or strong interest in chemical mixing in a production or manufacturing environment. Ability to safely handle hazardous chemicals while complying with all safety procedures and protocols. Strict adherence to PPE requirements and comfort wearing protective equipment for extended periods. Capability to follow detailed production formulas, mixing instructions, and written procedures accurately. Commitment to safety and compliance with all plant rules and guidelines. Willingness and flexibility to work 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday, approximately 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. High school diploma. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in chemical mixing or related industrial work preferred. Strong attention to detail when measuring, mixing, and documenting materials. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment. Reliability and punctuality for consistent 3rd shift attendance. Standard attire includes a long-sleeve shirt, full-length pants (no sweatpants), and steel-toe shoes, with additional protective PPE provided as needed for chemical handling. The environment is structured around production formulas, safety protocols, and teamwork to ensure efficient and safe operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mcdonough, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.62 - $22.62/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
