Job Description
Job Title:
Warehouse Specialist B (WSB)
Department:
Warehouse
Reports to: Warehouse and Logistics Manager
Supervises:

Non-Exempt SUMMARY
The Warehouse Specialist B is an hourly position, and reports to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager. The Warehouse Specialist B is the operations expert for the warehouse and shipping processes.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Transports finished goods by clamp truck throughout warehouse
Ensures quality of product by visual inspection
Establishes shipping efficiencies
Coordinate with quality for hold tag management
Unloads and loads finished goods using clamp truck and places on trailers
Interacts with vendors
Utilizes Warehouse Management Computer System to verify product location
Utilizes Warehouse Management Computer System functions to load, unload, and surge materials
Unloads direct material and stages during the night shift and/or when the storeroom is unavailable
Uses forklift, clamp truck, roll clamp and other related material handling machinery in the last 12 months
Responsible for tracking and assuring accuracy of inventory
Performs and documents necessary CILT Assists with training
Ensures a safe work environment through following safety protocols, wearing proper PPE, performing general housekeeping tasks, and participating in safety/5S area audit
Supports TPM activities including attending, participating, and updating daily management board
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The employee should hold the following abilities: Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
Must possess strong organizational skills
Must have the ability to multi-task Must have strong communication skills Must work well in team environment
Must be able to work independently
Must have the ability to do basic mathematical calculations
Must be able to secure and maintain forklift driver's license
COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE COMPENTENCIES
The employee must be able to: Operate a computer or other keyboard instrument
Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Be proficient in SAP system, including RF
Utilize plant Tag system in order to communicate any issues
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
The employee should have the following: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required
Related experience and/or training in an industrial environment
Must be 18 years or older

This position requires: Regular attendance on site and the ability to work varying or rotating shifts
