Job Description
Position Summary The Warehouse Receiving & Repair Associate is responsible for managing inbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting outbound shipping operations, and coordinating product returns and repair processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure efficient warehouse operations and high-quality customer service. Schedule Mon-Fri - 8:00am to 4:30pm. Receiving Greet carriers and verify delivery documentation Confirm shipment reference numbers and supplier details Inspect trailers/containers before unloading Document and report any damage prior to unloading Ensure delivery driver notes visible damage before acceptance Unload materials using approved equipment Verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders Report discrepancies or damage to management Enter received quantities into WMS Ensure SKUs and barcodes are accurate and readable Move inventory to designated storage locations Inventory Management Maintain accurate records in WMS/ERP systems Organize inventory for efficient picking Conduct cycle counts regularly Investigate and report discrepancies Maintain accurate location tracking Prepare inventory adjustments with justification Shipping Generate shipping labels and packing documents Verify SKU, quantity, weight, and dimensions Identify special handling requirements Select appropriate LTL carriers Schedule pickups and coordinate shipments Prepare Bills of Lading (BOL) Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and securing of shipments Returns & Repairs Inspect returned and damaged products Segregate non-conforming items in designated areas Track and follow up on claims Process repair requests from customers Review repair scope and requirements Prepare repair quotations in ERP system Communicate with customers and answer inquiries Process repair payments Track repair progress to completion Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of warehouse or related experience preferred Experience with WMS/ERP systems required Familiarity with shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL) Experience with Forklifts is required Forklift certification preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic computer proficiency
