Position and Benefits:

We are looking for a full time, day shift, Monday-Friday, general labor employee to join our Akron Team and contribute to the company's growth and expansion. We offer full 401K match, quarterly bonuses, annual profit sharing, vacation/holidays, yearly planned plant shutdown, as well as health/vision/dental insurance.

Job Responsibilities:

Help manage material sort and transfer on the plant floor in coordination with other personnel. Maintaining a clean and safe work space, initiate organizational changes and cleanliness. Prioritize workflow and take initiative to move material through production in a timely manner. Self-sufficiency and autonomy with limited task direction.

Requirements:

Experience with small industrial production operations. Ability to follow directions and follow through with minimal guidance. Reliable daily transportation and the ability to lift 50 lb. Ability to quickly learn and navigate a fast-paced environment. Ability to quickly adjust to a change in workflow and process. Effective written and oral communication in English.

Special Considerations:

Prior industrial/processing experience Safe Forklift Operation/ Forklift Certification a plus Machine operating experience a plus Prior scrap recycling experience
