Applicants for 2nd shift need to be able to train on 1st shift for 6-8 weeks 1st

5a-3:30p Mon-Thu, 5a-1:30p Fri 2nd

Shift:

2:30p-11p Mon-Fri Hours subject to change based on production needs.

SUMMARY:

Assists roaster operators to produce product at company standards. Function as a backup to operators as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Learn daily paperwork Ability to follow run sheet to complete orders, as directed Ability to correctly read and follow traceability paperwork provided for each item Rotate on lines, as directed by leads/supervisor Follow all GMP and SSOP policies Comply with quality procedures Comply with safety procedures Produce to standard rates Follow direction and identify correct product, correct case count, correct weights, and correct packaging for all items assigned to your line

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

None Skills:

Strong attention to detail Basic arithmetic Strong interpersonal skills and ability to direct activities Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills Knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices

RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to the Production Supervisor Works closely with Production, Warehouse and Quality

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach, stretch, stoop, bend, and use hands and fingers. Must be capable of regularly lifting up to 50 lbs. This position requires the employee to be able to read, write, and communicate orally in English. In addition, the employee must be able to hear and have color vision. The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
