Warehouse Associate

W.E. Lott Company , a fast-growing importer and distributor of forgings and castings, is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate for our Bucyrus office . This position is crucial in supporting all incoming and outgoing shipments from the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have knowledge of the warehouse and can perform multiple tasks effectively.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Picking orders and placing them in loading dock area Verifying quantities on in and outbound materials Repair or replace broken or opened shipping boxes Re-boxing of products as necessary Receiving, inspecting, and processing warehouse stock products Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment Reporting any discrepancies or issues to warehouse supervisor Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager Organizing warehouse space and always keeping it clean and safe Dispose of scrap and waste

Skills and Experience:

Basic computer skills: word/excel Ability to learn and use proprietary software Proficient reading/writing/simple math Loading/unloading trucks Able to lift 50 lbs. High school diploma or equivalent Work in a non-climate-controlled environment Works independently and as a team Able to pass a drug screen Valid Driver's License Required to move frequently, walk and sit
