Job Description

No Restoration Experience? No Problem. Certified Professional Restoration is hiring a full-time Restoration Laborer / General Laborer to join our team. You do not need restoration experience to get started. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a good attitude, and a willingness to learn. If you are dependable, willing to work hard, and interested in learning a skilled trade, we can teach you the restoration side of the job. This is an entry-level position with an opportunity to grow into a Restoration Technician, Lead Technician, and beyond as you gain experience and develop your skills. Your responsibilities may include:
Assisting with water extraction and cleanup Helping with fire and water damage restoration Assisting with mold remediation Setting up and moving drying equipment Removing damaged materials and debris Cleaning affected areas and job sites Loading and unloading equipment and supplies Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment Taking job-site photos and assisting with documentation Working in residential and commercial properties Following safety procedures and directions from technicians and supervisors Participating in our rotating after-hours emergency response schedule This is active, hands-on work . You will get dirty, work on your feet, and perform physical labor throughout the day. What We're Looking For Experience is not required. The right attitude is. We are looking for someone who: Has a strong work ethic Shows up reliably and on time Has a positive, coachable attitude Is willing to learn and take direction Works well as part of a team Takes pride in doing quality work Is comfortable working in customers' homes and businesses Is willing to perform physically demanding and sometimes dirty work Can lift 50+ lbs. Can bend, kneel, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods Is willing to work in basements, crawlspaces, wet areas, and other restoration environments Is comfortable using a smartphone for photos, communication, and basic job documentation Has a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for operating a company vehicle Is willing and able to participate in a rotating after-hours emergency response schedule, including occasional evenings, nights, and weekends Can meet company background-screening requirements Can comply with our drug-free workplace policy No Restoration Background? That's Okay. People with experience in other hands-on jobs often do very well in restoration. We encourage you to apply if you have worked in: Construction or remodeling Landscaping or lawn care Moving Carpet or floor cleaning Apartment or property maintenance Janitorial or commercial cleaning Roofing Pest control Warehouse work Furniture or package delivery General labor Manufacturing Other physically demanding jobs You do not have to come from one of these industries. Schedule Full-time Primarily Monday-Friday Rotating after-hours on-call schedule Occasional evening, night, and weekend emergency work Overtime opportunities during busy periods Restoration is an emergency-service business. Water damage and other losses do not always happen during normal business hours, so participation in the rotating after-hours schedule is a required part of this position.
