The opportunity The Warehouse Clerk - Rural Hall position is responsible for performing a combination of tasks to receive, store, distribute, and ship products and materials. How you will impact Smurfit Westrock Provide leadership to the department; assign daily work and set priorities. Schedule inbound loads of customer product and materials. Schedule outbound shipments to meet customer due dates. Verify counts, quantities, and descriptions of products. Ensure safe and efficient handling of materials. Replenish products to production lines. Process shipping/receiving paperwork and inventory transactions. Perform physical inventory and cycle counts. Maintain cleanliness and safety in warehouse. Assist Warehouse Supervisor and interact with customers/vendors. What you need to succeed High school diploma or GED required Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively Basic math and reasoning skills Computer proficiency 2+ years shipping/receiving 2+ years forklift experience Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams and maintain organized work processes. Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled industrial environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and other manufacturing conditions. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including prolonged standing and walking, and lifting or moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to safely operate machinery and warehouse equipment in accordance with company policies and safety procedures. The salary range for this position is $43,500.00 - $72,500.00, depending on your role, level, and location. The range listed is also the expected pay for roles in Illinois and Colorado. The benefits for this role include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 15 days of paid vacation, and 11 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change.
