Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily inbound and outbound warehouse operations. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, preparing, and shipping materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently. The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience, is comfortable operating a forklift, and can perform the physical requirements of a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Unload incoming trucks and perform receiving and quality checks on materials. Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming products and materials. Accurately enter receipts, inventory movements, and product locations into the appropriate computer system. Stack, load, and unload pallets for shipment or storage. Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions. Pick, gather, and prepare materials for customer orders and outgoing shipments. Operate forklifts and other common material-handling equipment to move products throughout the warehouse. Sort and store materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to product type, size, code, or other designated sequence. Maintain proper FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices. Fill requisitions and requests for materials, tools, and other stock items. Assemble customer orders and stage completed orders in designated holding or shipping areas. Label and mark materials with the appropriate identifying information. Count, weigh, and/or measure incoming and outgoing shipments and verify information against bills of lading, invoices, purchase orders, and other documentation. Record materials received, distributed, and relocated using appropriate computer systems. Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory. Adhere to all warehouse GDP (Good Documentation Practices) requirements. Perform daily and bi-weekly warehouse cleaning to maintain an organized and compliant work environment. Assist with creating, maintaining, and updating departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) . Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Valid forklift certification required. Previous warehouse or material-handling experience preferred. Previous experience using UPS and/or FedEx online shipping systems preferred. Basic computer and data-entry skills. Ability to accurately read and process shipping and receiving documentation. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a warehouse team. Physical Requirements Ability to frequently and repeatedly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds . Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching. Occasional sitting, climbing, and balancing. Ability to safely operate warehouse and material-handling equipment. IND2
