Job Description
S.H. Bell Company, LLC operates warehousing facilities capable of processing, crushing, screening, and packaging of materials. The Company ships and receives material via river barge, truck, and rail. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Production employee to join our team, in a union setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to the handling, storage, and distribution of materials within our warehouse. Warehouse Production employees perform tasks involving physical labor and operation of various hand and power tools such as air hammers, mechanical hoists, measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. They load/unload trucks, railcars and barges using cranes, tow motors and front-end loaders, some manual labor is involved. They are responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and preparing the site for receipt of materials and products and the repackaging of such materials and products for delivery to the Company's clients, including the cleanup of debris and other materials. This work is performed in various shifts: Daylight (7a-3:30p), Afternoon (3:00p-11:30p), and Night shift as needed (11:00p-7:30a).
