Cardinal Staffing is hiring Warehouse Associates in the Garfield Hts. OH. area.

Job duties:

Receive incoming packages from line-haul trucks or other facilities. Unload and move packages into the warehouse using carts, pallet jacks, or by hand. Sort packages according to delivery area, route, ZIP code, or driver. Scan packages using handheld scanners to record their movement through the facility. Stage packages in designated areas so delivery drivers can quickly collect their routes. Load delivery vehicles in an organized and safe manner. Check labels and package information for accuracy and identify damaged, missing, or incorrectly routed packages. Handle delivery exceptions , such as packages that cannot be routed normally. Keep the warehouse organized and clean , including keeping aisles and staging areas clear. Follow safety procedures , particularly when lifting, moving carts, or working around trucks and other employees. Work at a fast pace , especially during periods when large numbers of packages arrive and need to get out to drivers the same day.
