In this energetic role, you will contribute to various hands-on tasks that keep our projects moving forward efficiently and safely. Your proactive attitude and willingness to learn will help ensure that our work environment remains productive, organized, and safe. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop practical skills while supporting diverse construction, manufacturing, or maintenance activities. Responsibilities Performs a variety of tasks under close supervision of the shift supervisor in the operation. Following guidelines based on work instructions, scan guns, and reports. Read work instructions to sub-assemble automotive components/parts. Pays close attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly of components and parts. Pay close attention to accurately scan and count material and parts. Scans parts and places them into tubs according to customer requirements. Some light assembly is required. Use of small, powered hand tools is required. May be trained to assist with stocking or kitting. Performs general audits, counts, builds, repacks, and tags parts. Reports any issues to team lead, quality technician or supervisor. Identify damage and reports shortages or quality deficiencies. Comply with company policies and guidelines. Help maintain a safe and orderly work environment in the facility. Clean workstation to include sweeping, trash pickup and put equipment back in its original place. Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to read, listen, understand, and follow directions and work instructions. Ability to count accurately. Ability and flexibility to work in a variety of roles. Ability to work with others in a team environment. Ability to work full time with extra hours & weekends as required. Must have the ability to use scanning equipment and inventory software. Excellent attendance and punctuality. Must have a high level of motivation and attention to detail. Must be detail oriented.
