Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth warehouse operations by handling inventory, operating heavy equipment, and supporting shipping and receiving functions. Responsibilities Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, stock, and move materials safely and efficiently Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts, updating inventory management software, and ensuring accurate record-keeping using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) Support order fulfillment processes by picking, packing, and preparing shipments according to order specifications using manual handling techniques and safety protocols Handle shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and documenting all transactions accurately Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to OSHA safety regulations and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of warehouse operations including stocking shelves, loading trucks, and managing materials handling equipment operation Follow safety procedures diligently during heavy lifting, material handling, and operation of heavy equipment to prevent accidents or injuries Requirements Prior experience working in a warehouse distribution or logistics environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Demonstrated ability to operate warehouse machinery such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, crane equipment, pallet jacks, order pickers, and RF scanners Knowledge of inventory management software (e.g., AS400) or warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus Basic math skills for counting inventory accurately and processing shipments effectively Strong understanding of safety regulations including OSHA standards; commitment to maintaining a safe working environment through proper PPE use and safety protocol adherence Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining proper technique Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift Join us as a Warehouse Associate - Temporary and become an integral part of our logistics team!
