SYSPRO Full Job Description Job Description:
Support chemical manufacturing operations by safely operating production equipment, following SOPs and safety procedures, maintaining equipment, monitoring product quality, and supporting production from raw materials through final packaging.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor production equipment safely. Follow SOPs, LOTO, Hazard Communication, PPE, and safety procedures. Maintain accurate production counts and documentation. Perform basic equipment cleaning, greasing, and adjustments. Monitor product quality and report production or safety issues. Perform equipment start-up and shutdown procedures. Clean mix tanks and work in confined spaces after required training. Perform general labor and production support duties. Participate in cross-training across production lines. Train and assist new employees and laborers. Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas. Support safety meetings, audits, and preventive maintenance activities.
MUST HAVE
Ability to safely enter and work in confined spaces Clear understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Hazard Communication procedures Ability to perform basic autonomous maintenance, including greasing, adjusting, and cleaning equipment Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Basic math skills for production counts and documentation Experience working with chemicals or in light chemical manufacturing Forklift experience Ability to perform physically strenuous, repetitive work and stand for extended periods Ability to work in varying plant temperatures and conditions Ability to train and assist new laborers and
