ABOUT THE ROLE

Bob Sumerel Tire Company is seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse Worker / Tire Technician to join our team. You will start out in the warehouse mounting and dismounting tires but learning to change commerical truck tires.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Tire Services Mount, dismount, and balance passenger and light truck tires on a wide variety of vehicle types Loading, unloading and stacking tires. Execute flat tire repairs using industry-standard plug and patch methods Conduct wheel rotations per manufacturer torque and service specifications Inspect tires for wear patterns, damage, and safety concerns; advise customers accordingly

QUALIFICATIONS

Required High school diploma or GED equivalent Proficiency mounting, balancing, and repairing passenger and light truck tires Ability to safely operate vehicle lifts and automotive service equipment Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 60 lbs throughout the course of a shift
