Job Description
Vitakraft Sun Seed, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Team Member in Weston, OH. The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate preparation, processing, and inventory control of warehouse products for delivery or pickup. This includes maintaining safety and quality standards, monitoring and addressing warehouse concerns, performing operational tasks, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. The Warehouse Team Member demonstrates a strong focus on safety, quality control and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Follow all documented procedures and work instructions for warehouse operations and specific tasks. Maintain a safe working environment, promoting safe work practices on every shift. Keep the warehouse clean as safe while optimizing space utilization. Operate and maintain warehouse equipment with preventative maintenance practices. Promote and enforce fork truck safety; collaborate with drivers to ensure adherence to safety practices. Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations. Review and issue quality alerts as needed, monitor packaging materials and integrity, and ensure packaging standards are met. Monitor adherence to VKSS Good Manufacturing Practices. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup, including tasks like loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping. Receive and process warehouse stock, including unloading, labeling, and storing products. Report any discrepancies in inventory or process to supervisors. Review, track, and implement corrective actions for issues found during line audits, quality audits, and process audits. Ensure 5S principles (Sort, Straighten, Sanitize, Standardize, Self-Discipline) are implemented and maintained in the warehouse. Assist with problem-solving and addressing operational concerns during shift. Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with management and coworkers. Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by management.Qualifications:
Previous experience as a warehouse worker. Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and warehouse management systems. Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods. Possess computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word Excel, and SAP Systems. Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to communicate clearly and effectively Ability to lift 40 lbs repetitively, occasionally up to 50 lbs, and stack pallets up to 6 feet high.Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Forklift Certification Start Rate:
